Wheat nitrogen utilization efficiency and yield as affected by nitrogen management and environmental conditions

چکیده
Nitrogen (N) is the main nutrient for plant nutrition, however, its fertilization management still very complex. To evaluate wheat N utilization efficiency (NUtE) and yield in response to considering influence of environmental conditions, an experiment was carried out three field conditions Southern Brazil: Londrina rainfed irrigation Ponta Grossa rainfed. A complete (2 × 2 2) + 1 factorial arrangement evaluated two rates (40 80 kg ha-1), sources (ammonium nitrate urea), timings (at sowing or at beginning tillering), additional treatment without fertilization. Agronomic characteristics related productivity nutrition were evaluated. Irrigation increased density fertile spikes accumulated shoot dry matter anthesis, which partially explained better grain irrigated condition. The higher accumulation essential increase environments with lower water deficit, based on their NUtE yield. reduced (in conditions), production all environments. In a colder condition (i.e. Grossa), use rate provided greater yield, thousand-grain weight, spikes. can be warmer wetter that favor mineralization soil organic decomposition soybean straw. choice urea ammonium economic criteria low deficit potential NH3 volatilization. exclusively may suitable supply spring requirements.

Photosynthesis, grain yield, and nitrogen utilization in rice and wheat.
Rice (Oryza sativa) and wheat (Triticum aestivum) are the two most commercially important crops, accounting for more than 40% of global food production. They were domesticated in different climates and differ largely in their growth environments: Rice is tropically cultivated in hot, wet climates, whereas wheat tends to be grown in cooler temperate climates. However, both crops have been bred i...
متن کاملN uptake and yield of wheat as influenced by integrated use of organic and mineral nitrogen
The effect of integrated use of mineral and organic N sources (farmyard manure, poultry manure, and Filter Cake) on yield and N uptake of wheat were assessed in biennial field experiment carried out on silty clay loam soil in Nuclear Institute for Food and Agriculture, Tarnab, Peshawar Pakistan during 2005-07. Combined dose of N provided from all sources was applied @120 kg ha-1. There were 17 ...

Thii study was conducted, under several climatic and soil conditions, to determine the effect of N level on beet yield and quality and to further develop and me both soil and tissue test methods for predicting N fertilizer needs for efficient refined sucrose production. Previous studies indicate that N fertilizer needs for =Wm= sucrose production may be predicted by con. sidering yieldpotential...
